Archie really is a fascinating case of a character who evolves with the times while still holding onto that classic charm. It’s interesting to see how Riverdale’s themes have stayed consistent even as the world around them changes.

The C64 was such a gateway for so many into programming and gaming—it’s amazing how many current developers got their start tinkering on one. It really helped demystify computers at a time when they still felt out of reach for most households.

Archie is such a cultural touchstone—it’s like each generation gets their own version of him while the heart of the character stays the same. That balance between evolution and consistency is what really keeps Riverdale timeless.

Checking out your website and enjoy the history here. I am laughing at the processor being 1Mhz, compared to our modern day CPUs running at 4-5Ghz.

I also didn't realize that CES has been around that long. Looks like it started in 1967.

Lastly, the $595 was crazy expensive back then, but the $199 was a little more reasonable.

Looking for for future writeups!

As someone who loves racing games such as Forza and the Need for Speed series, its pretty sweet to read about this history here. Do you have any more screenshots from the game? Such as the cars or driving in action? I know the graphics don't hold up as much as other games, but its fun to see how far technology has progressed. I have been thinking about expanding my website (https://akschaefer.com/) into covering some reviews of NES and SNES games as well.

I believe what you said was very logical. However,
consider this, what if you added a little content?

I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, but what
if you added a title that makes people desire more?
I mean Commodore 64: The 8-Bit Legend That Revolutionized Home Computing –
Elf Cave is kinda vanilla. You could look at Yahoo's front page and see
how they create news titles to get viewers interested. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to grab readers excited about what you've written. Just my opinion, it would make your website a
little bit more interesting.
